Its Just 2 Easy

Hi everyone
Sorry for my wee post being a day late, been a hectic week here with all different things plus BIG Birthdays for family and friends!

Mel here and this weeks post I've created a wee age card for a Special little one

This is how I made this wee quick number card

Using my Silhouette Cameo I drew out a 6x6 card then with the number 2 added it to the right side, fitting it to that half of the card. Then using the "rubber" tool removed all the extra lines adding a punched line to the middle to make it easier to fold. I also cut out another 2 to make the card sturdier

Once cut out I folded in half and stuck on the other white 2

Next I cut out another 2 slightly smaller using my American Craft Shoreline pad

I then stuck this onto the card after outlining with a marker

using some more Shoreline scraps I folding them in half then cut out some little triangles, edging with a marker again before sticking some twine in-between each piece then adding to the card

I finished with some gems, stickles glitter glue and also some letter and star stickers from the Fancy Pants What a Wonderful Day Kit

I hope you will try a number card out and don't forget to share!

Will till next time

Handbag or Giftbag??

Good morning my lovelies

and Happy Valentines Day to all my lovie dovie crafters out there!

Mel here and today I'm sharing a wee creation made with the most delish papers

Fancy Pants Designs - WHAT A WONDERFUL DAY COLLECTION PACK

these Fancy Pants What a Wonderful Day collection pack is just amazing!
If like me you like 12x12 "stroke-able" papers this is a set you need! Not only are the papers just fab, up to date and modern but the elements are fantastic for cards as well as Scrapbooking!

Here's what I made with mine

Yeah its a little tote style bag made using my Silhouette then Distressed all the edges with Tattered Rose

I stamped out my Saturated Canary image Krafty Kate. I coloured her with my markers and cut here out before sticking on to the bag with foam pads. I finished off the tote with some pink pearls on all the front and back corners

I even added brads to the bottom to give the little studded feet that totes sometimes have!
Its a great wee size and can happily fit and gift for that special friend or even some sweeties too!

I hope you like my wee bag and those amazing papers!
Well till next time

Take care everyone and have a great "LOVE" day

Poinsettia Wreath

Morning all
I hope you all have been having a nice week? Mel here again sharing another wee card made using my trusty Silhouette and fab Christmas papers

I cut all the components plus the card base using the delish Recollections Botanical Noel 12x12 papers before going round all the edges with red and then green markers to take away the harsh white edge. I then used my Vintage Photo Distress Ink on all the edges before making up all the poinsettia flowers, adding some gems to the centres. I finished the card off with some red ribbon and a touch of glitter

A nice simple card using my Silhouette letting the papers stand out!
Will off to enjoy my weekend!

Paper Cup Christmas

Hello again everyone

Well, Mel here again and its the most Wonderful Time of the Year and that means one thing ................... RED paper cups lol! Well come on, they only come out as this time of year and do love a tasty wee hot chocolate all wrapped up in its winter coat lol!

What better than a Christmas "Java" cup card to send to a coffee lover at Christmas, especially with the Red Cup season to inspire!

Using the delish "strokeable" Recollections 12x12 Botanical Noel, I run it through my Silhouette Cameo and made the cup shape and all the elements. The paper was a great weight for the card base and all the little elements plus stunning with all the gloss and gold detail on it

Once I had all the pieces cut I gently removed them from the paper and saved the cut offs to use for other cards!

I then took my Tim Holtz Vintage Photo Distress Ink and began inking all the edges of the elements, being careful not to rip the little pieces of the Botanical Noel paper

I then layered up all the my pieces as you can see above

Next I stuck down the wrapper and cup lid on to the card base. I made the wrapper slightly raised in the middle my coming down lower on the cup and sticking the edges together (holding till it set) giving the shape in the middle

Then I stuck down everything on to the card and added card candi and pearls from my stash before finishing with Ice Stickles Glitter Glue

I hope you like my wee cup and if you want to try it using a silhouette you can use the SVG file from here that I used! Again you could cut it all my hand if your a clever clogs unlike me lol!

Well I'm off, got a busy wee day ahead!
