Indigoblu - Blazing Poppies

Monday again, and Paula here with a one layer card.

Products used from Clare Curd Crafts:

Here's how I made it........
  1. I stamped the Blazing Poppies first. Then added some background stamping (any text stamp will do) in grey ink.
  2. I used a texture stamp to stamp along the edges with Brushed Corduroy Distress Ink, and I used 2nd and 3rd generation prints within the centre.
  3. Stamped the number stamp by Paula Pascual, as shown.
  4. Coloured the Blazing Poppies image with marker pens.
  5. Finally, stamped the quote from the Grand Tour III set and added some rub-ons, here and there.

Stunner indeed! I am just gobsmacked how you achieve these effects just with stamps... I was convinced you had stamped onto scrap book paper! Would you let me in on the secret of what texture stamp you used? The effects around the edges is just amazing!! Another master piece!

You should make your own papers for a living Paula - your card is absolutely beautiful! If you sold these as prints, I would buy them! You're so very talented.

Now if I used some grey ink (which I think I have) I wonder if I could make a background as fabulous as this....dobut it :-) Perfect as a foil for the vibrant red poppies.
