Today I have a layout to share, using the beautiful Fabrications Canvas Collection from Teresa Collins. Just £6.74 from Clare Curds Crafts - and that includes die cuts!
Each paper is double sided and canvas textured - that's right - they look and feel like rich fabric!
Making a layout was so easy, because the papers are already colour matched for you and there's a complimentary simple side to match every 'busier' patterned paper.
Products Used: Teresa Collins Fabrication Canvas 12x12 collection pack, Teresa Collins Every day Moments Clear Stamp Set, Smash* Like This Tape, MME Decorative Tape - Yellow & Grey. |
I approached this layout by cutting various random sizes of patterned cardstock (I have to describe this paper as cardstock, it's very thick!) in to rectangles and then using them to layer beneath my photograph at different angles.
Once I was pleased with the positioning, they were all glued in to place and then layered again with washi tapes, die cuts and flowers. The flowers were hand-cut from a patterned sheet covered in flowers all crying out to be cut and used on your next projects!
The Smash tape is fantastic for adding a little more journaling without clutter - bringing a fun element to the page and nicely balancing out the pops of blue I had added.
My finishing touch is always the Teresa Collins stamp set. She has the best phrases and fonts, perfect to finish off any page and fill in those annoying gaps that can really halt the creative process as you try to work out just what to stick there!
I'd love to see what you've been creating lately - leave a comment with a link to your blog and i'll be sure to stop by and check it out :)
Have a lovely week ahead!
